The Zoom In tool allows the user to increase the scale of the map -- that is, to get “closer” to the map and view smaller areas in more detail.
To zoom in:
Select Zoom In from the toolbar.
With your mouse either click on the map or click-and-drag to draw a box.
The map will recenter and zoom in where you clicked / dragged a box.
In the example below, a box is used to define the zoom in parameters. Alternatively, when a user simply clicks on the map, it will zoom increase the scale a predefined amount and recenter on the click location.
