Each layer in the map has associated metadata (data about the data). Metadata contains information on the contents of the layer (i.e. who compiled the data, when it was compiled, what standards were used, etc.) Each layer in the Layer List that appears as a hyperlink has associated metadata.
To access the metadata (Layer Info) the user simply clicks on the layer name. A new browser window will appear with the layer information presented.
