The Info tool allows users to quickly link to more detailed information related to a pre-set layer in the map. This layer will be the one that is the primary subject of the map -- for example, the Land Sales layer in the Northern Forest Land Sales map. Not all maps will have a layer that can be accessed by the Info tool. When it is available, the name of the primary layer will appear in capital letters.
To use the Info tool:
Select the Info tool from the toolbar.
Click on a feature in the map for which more information is desired.
A new browser window will appear containing information specific to the selected feature.
